The purpose of the project "Knowledge management architecture in environmental, social and economic area, designed to fundament the sustainable regional development strategy"
The project aims to develop the framework for stimulating the regional creative capacity, in order to assure the synergy among environmental, social and economic issues, for the sustainable regional development. The main research objective consists in the design of a model based on the trinomial approach: environment-social issues-economy, which represents the main innovation of the project. A challenge in this project is represented by the development of the analysis and the interpretation tools, generating knowledge in the form of scenarios and trends, for the identification of the objectives and priorities for the sustainable regional development. Another objective consists of developing innovative generic software architecture, based on archetypes, in order to transpose the model into a useful tool and to create the framework for the regional knowledge management, through the integration of the relevant regional actor's views. The architecture could be integrated in an e-region platform, which will offer the generic framework for data, knowledge and best practices acquisition, from Romania and the European space, in the field of regional development
